A Little bit about me…

Hello my name is Siafra! I am Irish by birth (hence the unusual name) but have lived in England for the majority of my life. I am married to a very kind and patient man and we have 2 beautiful teenage girls and an adorable cat. Early on in my adult life my husband and I did the London thing and when we had kids we decided to moved outside London and have spent the last 10 years renovating an old Edwardian farm house on the Surrey / Sussex border.

I’ve had a really varied career and had amazing opportunities to travel the world with the various roles I’ve had. Initially I started out as a buyer within the Beauty Care business and was quickly promoted through the ranks. I then went on to work in Financials Services in London. When the girls were very young I decided to run my own consulting business but as the girls got older I ramped up the career again and spent my time leading and transforming billion dollar buying organisations. I turned fifty last year and feel that this might be my best decade yet! I’m at a point in my life where I wanted to start another creative outlet to share my journey and build my network with other likeminded people.

I wanted to focus this blog on all the things that I love and to also share the things that i’ve learnt in the hope that they might make someone else’s journey a little easier.
